Love Winsconsin Style

Well, como me he cansado que no me hagais caso en ver la serie, y como se me esta acabando y me entra morriña he decidido hacer un picspam así en general para que comprendais porque esta series es tan AWESOME. Lo primero es decir que evidentemente es una serie ambientada en los 70 (veis sólo por eso ya es amor,right? *le da golpecitos en el codo a galadriel_gs especialmente* ) y que es cómica de unos 20 minutos, lo que quiere decir que los capítulos se ven hiperrápido y que los personajes tienen unas características muy claras.

Advertencias antes de empezar; 1) Las caps y el color son una caca pero estan llenas de amor so... y las secuencias que he puesto son totalmente arbritarias. 2) Hay vídeos metidos por todos los lados. 3) Si no teneis ni idea de la serie seguramente os sploreareis pero vamos que tampoco será mucha cosa. 4) Evidentemente pondré quotes porque los dialogos es lo que hacen a esta serie tan magnífica ♥

Pues eso si no quereis ver la serie, ¡pues nada! y si os pica la curiosidad, just see that

So, le't go. La serie discurre en Point Place, un pueblecito de Winsconsin durante los 70 (con su respectivas modas, música,coches, whatever). Es sobre una grupo de adolescentes (seis para ser concretos) que se reunen en el sótano de la casa de los Forman, haciendo...bueno...

Kelso es el típico chico guapo que se las trae a todas de culo pero que es muy muy tonto.
Y, bueno él se divierte pegandose cosas al cuerpo, inventando un traje de petardos, pensando en robots
o saltando del tejado... Es un personaje entrañable por lo absurdo (&FUN) de su mundo <333.
Añadiré que Kelso siempre grita su famoso BUUUUUUUUUUUURN (razón uno para ver la
serie en inglés) cada vez que hace/le hacen a alguien una broma o un corte
y que muchas veces él simplemente beinghysterical y grita.

FEZ (Foreign Exchange Student <333) es un extrangero de "nadiesabedónde" que siempre va salido.
Su mundo puede describirse con dos palabras PORNO AND CANDDIES. Esta obsesionado con el sexo
y las mujeres, aunque tiene momentos con Kelso y Hyde que hacen dudar de su sexualidad.
Y en general es una monada porque canta y baila y se viste de mujer
y espia a las chicas escondido en el armario y mil cosas más. Durante las ocho temporadas de
la serie sigue con su acento (razón dos para ver la serie en inglés)
de extrangero incomprensible :D

He decidido hacer un "apartado" a algunos de los miles de grandes momentos que tienes esta serie, y son muchos.
Porque son tan adorables que sin mas se ponen a cantar y cantar y bailar todos juntitos
y se disfrazan, y recrean momentos de Grease o Weast Side Story
o hacien un guiño a Woody Allen o Hitchcock y por supuesto a Star Wars
simplemente haciendo que esta serie sea TAN GENIAL Y MARAVILLOSA EVER!!!!1!

Merlin {tv show}
Merlin is a British television drama series that began in 2008.
It is based around the Arthurian legends of the mythical wizard
Merlin and his relationship with Prince Arthur, though differs
significantly from more traditional versions of the myth. Produced

I decide make a Rory Gilmore's picspam! :DD I miss Gilmore Girls, so I hope you'll be enjoy with it!

Bueno pues pasando de mis pobres palabras en inglés, lo amplio en castellano. Y es que he decidido actualizar con una entrada en plan picspam llena de amor & heards. Porque estoy melancolica y el viernes vi uno de mis capítulos preferidos (el del maratón de baile) y emepezé a recordar que a parte de que es una de esas series que juntan a mogollón de gente VIP (tipo Dawson's Creek dónde todo el mundo ha actuado alguna vez). Y tambien me acordé especialmente de las relaciones Rory/some guy porque es una de las pocas series que cada relación (relationship se entiende) es tan especial que no hay ninguna que no me guste. Así que nada a ver si os gusta o sinos da igual porque yohe muerto de amor haciéndolo y rememorando, you know. LOVE YOU BABY!

PD: Y por supuesto que Rory es mi Gilmore favorita :P

Rory: It's my mother's name, too. She named me after herself. She was lying in the hospital thinking about how men name boys after themselves all the time, you know, so why couldn't women? She says her feminism just kind of took over. Though personally I think a lot of Demerol also went into that decision. I never talk this much.

Emily: Rory, correct me if I'm wrong, but men have walked on the moon regardless of whether your mother remembers it or not.
Rory: That's the rumor.

Rory: Where's Mom?
Luke: Looking for coffee.
Rory: What are you doing?
Luke: Staring at my shoes.
Rory: Okay, carry on.

Rory: You'll never get it past Lorelai. She had a bad reaction to Magnolia. She sat there for three hours screaming "I want my life back!". Then, we got kicked out of the theater. Actually, it was a pretty entertaining day.

Rory & Lorelai

Rory: Yeah, they kept calling me Mary.
Lorelai: You're kidding me. Wow, I can't believe they still say that.
Rory: Why? What does it mean?
Lorelai: Mary, like Virgin Mary. It means they think you look like a goody-goody.

Rory: Uh, people - they’re very upset with the color of that fence.

Rory: It's Tuesday night in Stars Hollow. The 24-hour mini mart just closed 20 minutes ago.

Lorelai: I hate crossword puzzles. They make me feel stupid.
Rory: Then don’t do ‘em.

Rory: I appreciate that. So, tell me, your cousin getting married Saturday, what’s his story?
Lane: James. Very quiet, kind of skulky, couldn’t meet anyone here, so his family arranged to have a girl shipped over from the old country.
Rory: I hope they cut air holes in the box.

Rory: The woman taught me everything I’ve already forgotten about dancing, baton twirling and gymnastics.

Richard: Your Grandmother would come to the phone but she's in the next room dancing wih Lloyd Sandstone. [Richard shouts out into the crowd] Watch where you put those hands, Lloyd.
Rory: A guy named Lloyd is feeling up Grandma?

Rory & Lorelai

Lorelai: It’s from my mother.
Rory: What is it?
Lorelai: It’s heavy. Must be her hopes and dreams for me.
Rory: I thought she discarded those years ago.

Rory: Mom's a little crabby this morning.
Lorelai: I am not crabby. I'm very very ill.
Rory: With allergies.
Lorelai: Deadly allergies.
Rory: Sorry, I didn't mean to minimize your condition. Shall we make funeral arrangements now?
Lorelai: Yes, and make sure you get your money back if these pills work.
Rory: Where did you get these?
Lorelai: Found them in your room.
Rory: These expired in 1998.
Lorelai: So... What I should take 4 then?

Lorelai: Um, help the guests with the kids, make sure they're not freaked out. Gather them up and entertain them for awhile so the adults can catch their breath.

Rory: It's a Friday night. We should be out, I don't know, partying with the homies.
Lorelai: Our Stars Hollow homies are all in bed by now.

Lorelai: Okay. Your first cop-raided party. I am just so proud.
Rory: Mom.
Lorelai: I just wish I could've been there.
Rory: It was no big deal.
Lorelai: Did they bring the paddywagon?
Rory: Yeah, but then we snuck out the backdoor of the speak-easy and headed straight for the Algonquin.
Lorelai: How was Benchley?
Rory: Drunk again.

Lorelai: I was negotiating at a funeral.
Rory: I saw.
Lorelai: Which might've been the most inappropriate thing to happen today until that gnat flew into Kirk's mouth and he freaked and dropped the casket.

Rory & Dean

Dean: Sorry, she can’t. I’m not her boyfriend anymore.
Rory: What?
Dean: You know, I tried to ignore this. I really did, but I don’t know what the hell I was thinking.
Rory: What are you talking about?
Dean: You don’t wanna be with me, Rory.
Rory: Yes, I do.
Dean: Oh, please! You’ve been into him since he got to town, and I have spent weeks – months, actually – trying to convince myself that it wasn’t true, that everything was fine between us. But now I know that I was an idiot. You’re into him and he’s into you, and Shane, who by the way, should be listening to this ‘cause it’s so damn obvious.
Rory: What’s obvious? What did I do?
Dean: Everyone can see it, Rory! Everyone. And I’m tired, but I’m over it, so go ahead, go. Be together. There’s nothing standing in your way now, ‘cause I’m out.

Rory: Dean, this whole friend thing with us isn’t going to work if we’re not honest with each other.
Dean: I agree.
Rory: Okay, so, anything you wanna tell me?
Dean: Corn’s two for a dollar?

Rory & Jess

Rory: You have nothing better to do all day than sit around and watch a dance marathon?
Jess: I don't know.
[looks at Dean and directs his question to him]
Jess: Do you have anything better to do all day than sit around and watch a dance marathon?

Rory: I am dancing, I can not control where my glance goes, and when I can control it, my glance goes to Dean.
Jess: So you can't control it when you look at me, but you have to force yourself to look at him. [to Dean] Sorry man, that's cold.

Jess: Here we are.
Rory: Yeah, here we are. So, tell me, what’s your decision about smoking that depending on?
Jess: On what’s gonna happen.
Rory: When?
Jess: Now.

Rory: I’m glad you didn’t smoke it.
Jess: Oh yeah?
Rory: Yeah.

Jess: Well, whatever else happens between us, at least we know that part works.

Rory: Oh my god! This is increadble. I mean its called Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate, but it is seriously Chocolate Chocolate Chocolaty. (Lorelai points to Taylor) Sorry.

Rory: Well, if they want an Anthea for "Portrait of a Young Girl Named Anthea," then they're going to have to have you for the Renoir.

Rory: No, I don't wanna know where you were, and I don't wanna know what you were doing or who you were doing it with. I had to cover for you when Doyle noticed that you were gone, so I told him that you were at a family thing, and as far as I'm concerned, that's where you were - at your family thing. And in the future, I want nothing to do with anything to do with what you were doing tonight or who you were doing it with, especially who! Now, go to sleep.
Paris: I smell like pipe tobacco.
Rory: Oh, jeez.

Rory: Mom, it's me, I left you a message at home, too. I love that you got horses. As far as that pony ride when I was a kid, you were forgetting one little tidbit there. That pony did not lie down. He died, okay? He died. And then the owner dragged him away by the back legs. Every time I use glue, I think of him. But I'll watch you ride, how's that? Call me back, bye.

Paris: I'm 19. I should be rollicking. Asher doesn't rollick.
Rory: Well he probably didn't rollick when he was younger either. He's British.

Lorelai: Hello?
Rory: Who is this?
Lorelai: This is Lorelai Gilmore.
Rory: No, this is Lorelai Gilmore.
Lorelai: Ooh. Ghastly.
Rory: So, you have my phone.
Lorelai: Yes, you left it in the kitchen. You know what that means, don't you? You miss Mommy.
Rory: Yes, or that the refrigerator was empty, and I ordered food.

Rory: I don't know.
Lorelai: Jack Nicholson and Angelina Jolie just kicked us out with parting gifts.

Rory: So what exactly was Grandma's excuse for canceling Friday night dinner?

Lorelai: There's a horse in the dining room.

Lorelai: He heard about the terrific continental breakfast? I don't know. I gotta go look into this.

Rory: 12,053 items came up. I could only pull up a couple thousand but it really helped. He was born in 1953. Episcopalian. Second of four children. Oldest boy. Yale undergrad. Star of the track team. No grad school. Interesting. Then he had a couple of lost years. A kind of blank period. A little Jesus thing goin on there.

Rory: I can't get "coming around the mountain" out of my mind. It's like one of those phrases like "drop it like its hot" that I really wish I'd never heard.

Rory & Lorelai

Lorelai: Hey, I should bring steak sauce, right?
Rory: For what?
Lorelai: Pizza.
Rory: I just got back from Italy.
Lorelai: So?
Rory: So they'd shoot you in Italy for that.
Lorelai: But this is America, where we unapologetically bastardize other countries' cultures in a gross quest for moral and military supremacy.
Rory: I forgot. Bring on the imperialistic condiments.

Rory: [talking about Logan] I know him from school. He's just a casual friend. That's it.

Dean: I'm just… trying to make sure that all this is really happening.

Dean: [chuckle] Ah, believe me, I'm remembering this.
Rory: Oh, I know. [She reaches over to the nightstand and loads a nearby CD into her player and turns it on ] Okay. Perfect. So, from now on, no matter what you're doing, where you are, you'll stop and think of me when you hear this [ clicks remote on. Sammy Davis Jr.'s "The Candy Man" plays]
Dean: [laughs] That's not gonna be our song.
Rory: Why not? It's perfect. It's happy. It's hopeful. It has the word "candy" in it. Hey, what is more hot than candy?
Dean: Pick something else.
Rory: [She bobs to the music beat and repeats the lyric in a high squeaky voice] "Who can take the sunrise… sprinkle it with dew"
Dean: Okay, okay, okay, okay. I'll pick something else. [ He struggles to snatch the remote from her]
Rory: No.
Dean: Hand it over, I can't take it anymore.
Rory: This is what happens when the women get the remote, ah-ha!

[Looking down from top of 8-story high scaffolding]
Rory: High. We are very, very high.
Logan: I've been higher.
Rory: I meant distance from the ground.
Logan: That, too.

Rory: That was a once in a life time experience!
Logan: Only if you want it to be.

Logan: I have thought about asking you out, several times. I just don’t think it’s such a good idea.
Rory: Why not?

Rory: Special, like ‘Stop eating the paste’, special?

[Logan climbs in through the window]
Logan: Wow, that move always looked cooler in the movies.

Rory

Rory: Jess, you've got such a great brain. I knew that if you could just sit down and stop shaking it around you could do something like this.

Rory: Listen, reverend. I really appreciate you taking the time out of what I assume is a busy day to come here and talk to me about... all of this, but, um, I'm afraid the ultimate-gift ship has sailed.
Reverend Boatwright: What?
Rory: A while ago. It's probably in Fiji by now.

Lane: Very big. Unless it's a Waiting for Guffman thing and the label guys don't show up. Did I just jinx it?
Rory: I don't know. Let's do that unjinxing thing we used to do just in case. [grabs Lane's pinky] Jinx back, double pinky, round the side, double pinky, jinx back [With Lane].

Rory & Lorelai

Rory: Having a bad reaction to an onion brick.
Lorelai: What part of onion brick do you not understand?
Rory: I gave dad his tour today. It was nice. He saw the campus. We had dinner.
Lorelai: Oh, how very 7th Heaven of you.

[Father Michael asks what the Lorelais' religious beliefs are]
Rory: I read the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Lorelai: I have a Bible, although I may or may not have accidentally given it to Goodwill because I am remodeling, but Goodwill is a religious organization. I think.
Rory: I buy tons of Girl Scout cookies.
Lorelai: I have two "Mary is my Homegirl" t-shirts.

Rory: [looking at her sidekick] Dad's feet are two different sizes.
Lorelai: Oh for the love of... Hey. [holds up two purses] Which one says "Hi, I'm not a whore, enjoy your day"?
Rory: The pink one.

Rory & Logan

[Logan enters Rory's birthday party and and walks toward Rory and Emily.]
Logan: Well, there they are, the two most lovely ladies in the room.
Emily [glares]: Hello, Logan. [To Rory] I have to check on your cake. [She leaves.]
Logan: Huh. Is it me, or could the penguins march through here?
Rory: She's probably mad because she found out we're having sex.
Logan: She what?
Rory [shrugs]: She found out we're having sex.
Logan: How the hell'd she find that out?
Rory [sweetly]: I told her minister.
Logan: But - but, why would you do that?
Rory: Because - he was going on and on about my virtue being a gift, and now you have it, so I'm going to have to buy the next guy a sweater! I just wanted him to stop.
Logan: And all this without a drink in my hand.
Rory: Come on, let's get you a Rory.
Logan: Ah. Dealing with this family is stressful.
Rory: Oh, tell me about it. And once you've had that drink, I can tell you how I've been moved out of the pool house and into a room right next to my grandparents. So from now on, we'll have to have sex in our invisible suits. [Logan's head falls.] Two Rorys, please.
Logan: Does your grandfather know also?
Rory: Oh, yeah.
Logan [to the bartender]: Make it four.

Rory & Jess

Rory: What are you doing here?
Jess: I got a job. Professional driveway skulker.
Rory: Pay's good?
Jess: Yeah, but the hours suck.

Jess: Nothing with food in the title.
Rory: Meaning?
Jess: Olive. Chili. Soup. No gardens, no plantations.
Rory: Got it. Something funkier.
Jess: Steer me to the college district, I'll find us something funky.

Jess: I mean, with you! What's going on with you?
Rory: What do you mean?
Jess: You know what I mean! I know you. I know you better than anyone! This isn't you.
Rory: I don't know.
Jess: What are you doing? Living at your grandparents' place? Being in the DAR? No Yale - why did you drop out of Yale?
Rory: It's complicated!

Lane: He's got better stuff than that. That's not why the banned his books.
Rory: I"m not going to write, "Our hands grope frantically for the burning flesh."

Rory: That upside twisted slammer was living up to its name, man. I don't know if I'm more twisted or slammed.
Marty: I'm both. I think I had three of them? Or was it four?
Rory: You know, the last time I saw you were drunk you were passed out naked outside of my dorm room.

Emily: No, I just wanted to walk you to your room, seeing that this isn't the safest neighborhood.
Lorelai: Mom. Now I feel like I should walk you back to the car. And then you're gonna feel like you should walk me back. And we're going to be stuck in a terrible loop and neither of us has the shoes for that.
Rory: Oh Grandma, you should stay. We're going to get junk food from the vending machine. Watch a movie. C'mon, don't you like Dots?
Emily: Seriously Rory, I can't stay.
Rory: Too late, I'm already getting you a Little Debbie.

Christopher: Ah, mistletoe.
Lorelai: Where are you going with that?
Christopher: I'm going to hang it up in the doorway.
Rory: Oh, that's not where it goes... We tape it up to one of the blades of the ceiling fan upstairs. That way the kissing is more like a sport. It's one of our traditions.

Rory & Lorelai

[Lorelai is developing a black eye after getting hit while she and Rory were "raquetballing".]
Lorelai: Steak!
Rory: Huh?
Lorelai: Steak is supposed to be good for a black eye.
Rory: Frozen Peas!
Lorelai: Why would I put peas in my eye?
Rory: No! Like a bag of frozen peas, it molds to the contour of your face.
Lorelai: But steak has actual healing properties, something about the juices or the fats. It's good for the skin.

[Lorelai is rambling to Rory about her sleepless night.]
Lorelai: I mean, how would I pass the time until my one and only offspring, the fruit of my loins…
Rory: Too early.
Lorelai: … loin-fruit that she is, straggled out of bed to grace me with her presence? But then I asked myself, "WWTBFCD?", and it came to me in a flash: I'm gonna make waffles!
Rory: "What would the Barefoot Contessa do?".
Lorelai: Exactly.
Rory: Barefoot's one word.
Lorelai: Shut up, loin-fruit.

Lorelai: What if I don't wanna do what I wanna do because I wanna do it, but because they don't want me to?
Rory: Huh?
Lorelai: I mean what if I don't like what I like because I like it but because my mother doesn't like it. And doesn't want me to like it.

[On the phone with Rory]
Lorelai: Hey we're here. With bells on. And nothing else. Except leg warmers, rollerskates, and Groucho Marx's glasses...We are near a big brick building and near an old tree.
Christopher: Tell her we're by the L-shaped building that from the top looks like a Polaroid camera.
Rory: Believe it or not, I don't know what all of Yale's buildings look like from the sky.
Lorelai: Well how ignorant of you honey. -[to Christopher] Rory says that she doesn't give two figs about Yale's architecture.
Christopher: Not two figs?
Rory: No just one and a half.

Lorelai: Hey, Rory.
Rory: Hey, Mom.
Lorelai: You know, glad to see you doing so well with Logan. I’m happy that you are happy.
Rory: Thanks!
Lorelai: He’s not half bad, that kid. He’s almost okay.
Rory: Yeah, he’s all right.

Rory: I could use a laugh.
Lorelai: All right, the Lake House it is.
Rory: Aww, my dress is wrinkled.
Lorelai: Honey, just put it in the shower with the steam if Mom ever finishes shellacking her face.

Rory & Logan

Rory: And did you hear what she called us? 'Adorable.' She called us 'adorable' couple
Logan: Wait she said that out loud?
Rory: Yes. 'Adorable.'
Logan: Wow, you want me to go back there and kick her ass?
Rory: 'Adorable is what you say about a Full House re-run. Its not what you say about something that last. The Great Wall of China, the Pyramids...no one called them 'adorable.

Rory: So I told Paris, I don't care if it would theoretically increase my chances of getting a grant to go study in Russia, I'm not willing to pretend to be an accomplished rhythmic gymnast.
Logan: How do you pretend to be a rhythmic gymnast anyway?
Rory: I don't even know. I mean, you whirl around some ribbons, balance a ball on your nose?

Rory: And I told him I liked Isabelle Allende. And it was disgusting!
Logan: You told him you liked Isabelle Allende.
Rory: But it was the way I said it I was all nervous and weird and I googled him after class I don't know why.

Rory: I didn't bloom. My headpiece malfunctioned.
Logan: Ah. Poor little scab-nose!
